Oaklands Hotel Norwich

Last August I was lucky enough to be Toni and Adam’s wedding photographer. I was recommended to Toni by her ace mum Carolyn who I’d met whilst shooting a wedding at The Oaklands Hotel the previous year. I got to meet Adam and their two beautiful girls when we met up for our pre wedding shoot at Waterloo Park in Norwich at the start of the summer so, come the big day, we were all set for great photos.
The day itself brought a welcome surprise for Adam as, unbeknown to him, his brother Simon sorted out Adam’s dream car to pick him up and take him to the venue. The car in question was a quite fabulous Mustang Shelby GT500 with a top speed of seven thousand miles an hour and a fuel economy of four hundred yards to the gallon..
The highlight of the day for me was Carolyn giving Toni away, the end of night photo session probably took second place and relegated the bag pipe player into hard won third :)

I include a complimentary pre-wedding shoot in all my packages because, frankly, pre-wedding shoots are cool. It provides a great chance for us to get to know each other well before your big day and to see what works best. On top of this  you get fabulous pre wedding shots of the pair of you. Once you see your photos you can rest assured that you will look fab on the day and thus you’ll have one less wedding day thing to worry about!

Amelia and Stuart were married at Anstey Hall in early summer 2104 at Anstey Hall with the ceremony at Trumpington Church. Anstey hall is a beautiful venue for a wedding, one I’d highly recommend you consider. Trumpington Church is literally in the estate itself with its own entrance gate into the gardens of Anstey Hall so travel to the church and back really isn’t an issue! The weather was as fabulous as only early summer can be and the day finished with a surprise firework show. Here’s the story of their day..
