Charlotte and Sam’s wedding had already been pushed back twice before this day finally happened. That matters, because you could feel it. Not in a heavy way, more like the whole day had a bit more air in it than most. They’re good company, the pair of them. Warm, funny, easy to be around. And they had their son Ruben with them, which always changes the energy of a day in the best possible way.
The pink blossom on the trees outside was doing a lot of work that day. Full bloom, branches absolutely loaded. Hard to ignore, and I didn’t try to.

Charlotte with her bridesmaids under those same trees. A proper group portrait, the kind worth doing quickly and well so everyone can get back to the day.

This is where Ruben made his mark. Six years old, bottle of lager raised for the toast, serious about it. One of those moments you don’t plan for and can’t recreate.

Two reschedules, two years of waiting, and then a day under pink blossom in Norfolk with people who were genuinely glad to be there. Ruben’s toast summed it up pretty well, honestly. If you’re interested in wedding photography, get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
